Endless rows of green and purple. Scent of lavender fills the air. The Sandia mountains provide the perfect backdrop. Los Poblanos. This quaint plantation nestled in the heart of Albuquerque along the Rio Grande is one of my family’s favorite places to be in this world.  Mallory, our New Mexican baby, requested this location be apart of her photographic story.  She grew up attending the annual lavender festival during the hot summers and has such fond memories cutting lavender and creating bundles with her grandmother and me.

Everyone has a story. I’d love to capture yours.

Thanks for stopping by.

It’s beginning to be that time of year for me…Christmas Card Season!  Yep…it’s a season for me alright.  Kinda like duck season. Or rabbit season. (Que the Looney Tunes music.) And once December 8th hits for me this year (studio closes for the year), I’ll have NO creativity left and look forward to unplugging for my long Winter slumber. Christmas Card Season is what keeps me fresh.  Excited. Creative.

Creating one-of-a-kind holiday cards, getting to know my clients and brainstorming funny sessions year to year is such a privilege for me.  To come into my client’s lives yearly, witnessing how they’ve changed as a family unit and watching their kids grow, I won’t lie…gets me a little verklempt (talk amongst yourselves for a moment.)  I’m so thankful I’m chosen to go along and document their journeys.

Soon I’ll be announcing my New Mexico session dates.  I’m looking forward to visiting with friends, eating yummy food, and photographing families in the dreamy ABQ light.

Thanks for stopping by.
