Personal projects are getting done, and I love that we have snow on the ground.  Now….if only I could get the snow blower to work!  hmmmm…….

Lets rewind just a bit back to November when me and Mallory were in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Mallory LOVES Old Town, so of course that was on our list of things to do.  She’s just a shopper and was on the prowl for a new purse. Lucky for me she did find one in the 8th shop we visited. Otherwise…. she would have kept whining and whining and looking and looking!

Have a great Friday!

All for now!

Last month while photographing beautiful families in Albuquerque, NM, my Mallory joined me for this two week trip.  On my days off we would plan our little adventures that we normally wouldn’t get to see since we visit mostly in the summer months.  One place I’ve had on my bucket list to visit during the Autumn months is The Festival of the Cranes at the Bosque del Apache.

This place is truly like a Heaven on Earth.

The Bosque del Apache is located close to San Antonio, New Mexico. And to get to the Bosque del Apache you have to drive past Manny’s Buckhorn Restaurant. Who cares right?  Well….actually, this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant has The BEST Green Chili Cheese Burger!!! EVER!!! and is ranked #7 Best Burger in America according to GQ’s National Best Top-20 list!   Apparently, this joint was also featured on Throwdown with Bobby Flay, and he too declared on his show that this was the #1 place for a Green Chili Cheese Burger!  I couldn’t agree more and ordered two more to go for my girlfriend and her hubby!

Here’s the MAN!  Bob Olguin claiming he’s #1….and I couldn’t agree more!

I love traveling…and even more….I love traveling with my children.

This year my Mallory is being home schooled. Yep! That’s right. You heard me correctly. Since I couldn’t leave her home for the month of November she got to tag along to Albuquerque. She was beyond excited and up for anything, so I took her on a road trip to see the VLA.  What’s the VLA you ask?  It stands for Very Large Arrays.

Ever seen the movie Contact?  ummm…me neither.  LOL!  But I guess this place makes an appearance.  Anyway, I crossed another place off my bucket list.

I was a little shocked to see this herd of antelope so close to the road. I spooked them trying to get my camera out of the car, and of course they bolted.

Happy Monday!

Circus World (in Baraboo, WI) has to be ONE of the most loved places for my children to visit!  I personally find Circus World a little cheesy…but this beloved place does a wonderful job transporting you back into a time that is no longer.

Here are a few ‘happy snaps’ from our day trip not too long ago.

Hayden’s first elephant ride!  He LOVE it!

Did you see the movie Water for Elephants?  Ya know…it wasn’t a favorite of mine….but I did notice the circus cars in movie came from Circus World!

All for now!

And may all your days, be CIRCUS days!

‘oh the places we go!’

The MN Zoo is a FAV for my family!  With these rainy days lately, we just had to get out and away!  I’m feeling the itch to pack the kids and head to ABQ for the rest of the summer!  How I wish I could be that free with my schedule right now…plus Mallory (my oldest) is picking up commits left and right!

Here are a few happy snaps from our zoo visit.  The boys had a blast with the Dr. Seuss scavenger hunt.  The only statue we didn’t find was  Yertle the Turtle….but we did run into old friends! Small world eh?

Happy Friday!

check out my lil’guy…..he was trying to “hatch an egg…just like Captain!”  (from Mr. Popper’s Penguins.)

All for now!

Hope your weekend is sunny!

Your kids are simply sweet and adorable Kati, but that lil P-Man has stole my heart and I know why. He has the coolest boots I’ve ever seen and has a “skelly” hoody just like my Carly’s. If I would have only known I would have borrowed it to you, so you could have had matching hoodies. Now that would have been way cool. I miss seeing you and Mallory at dance and am hoping the summer flies by, as I am missing all of my EA gurlies, each and every one of them.

heehee….he does have pretty cool boots! Have a safe holiday weekend!
