Yesterday, as I was taking photos of my Emily, I noticed that a tree in our front yard was almost bare. Autumn is rushing in and soon I’ll get to hear the sound of rustling leaves. Sigh…I love Autumn.

Anyway….
She’s eleven!! ……Really?
She blew out eleven candles Friday night. She can look me in the eye. She can wear my shoes!
I love that she is full of wonder, hope, joy, excitement, love and dreams.
I’m amazed. Knowing since I’ve had my children how time flies by in the blink of an eye.
I can now relate to my mother when she would say to me ” I wish I could freeze time and keep you little forever.”
Happy Birthday to my baby! Here’s to the best year at being eleven.
