I’m a firm believer in the saying “Home is where the heart is.”

Home…not being the physical structure, but it’s who you surround yourself with. Who you live and breathe for.  Why you do, what you do.

Simply them. Simply you.  Being you. That’s what I’m all about, when it comes to my photography style. 

It’s never about what lies in the background of your photo or how pretty the landscape is or that you wore designer matchy-matchy clothing, or making sure everyone is looking at the camera or posing you correctly with draping your arm here and turning your head there ….the focus is and always will be you!

This family hit the nail on the head.  They choose a place where their family came alive, and it just happened to be  in their swimsuits on a picturesque lake.  They showed me how they live and love, but most importantly where their home is. 

Simply priceless…if you ask me.

So much laughter. So much love. So much appreciation for each other.  

I’m gonna start this post off with my favorite image from this session.  I absolutely love how free and happy this couple is, and the laugh out loud glance their beautiful girl is giving her mom….. sigh…..this makes my heart happy.

Totally them!  Love the socks…..and of course lots of laughter!

Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, has beautiful blue eyes and a quiet demeanor, something tells me you don’t want to cross paths with this girl in the hockey rink.
