Brittin Oakman, always has the right way with words just when I need counsel. These words greeted me this morning as I scrolled through Instagram.
“Sometimes, on days like this, after great loss and tragedy beyond our understanding; I feel like I should be silent. Like I shouldn’t share. Like the world is full and my words are insignificant. But really, on days like this, inspite of the hate and in light of the tragedy, there is no better time to share, love, give a damn.”
My heart is heavy for Vegas. As a family, we’ve created some great memories in that city and can’t wait to go back and make some more.
So today, I’m sharing what I love about Vegas:
First time seeing the Broadway production of The Lion King at the Mandalay Bay with my girls.
Riding the New York, New York roller coaster multiple times. (never gets old)
Visiting the M&M store and leaving with too much candy!
Taking in all the neon as I walk the strip with my favorite people.
Watching the water ballet at the Bellagio fountain.
Ordering room service, eating in your pajamas, and having too many laughs with girlfriends.
Trying to get the perfect photo.
Dancing to the “Music of the Night” (Phantom of the Opera) underneath ornate chandeliers in the lobby of the Venetian.
